Due to high request volume from our customers we can now locally produce custom made buckles for you business, club, association, sports team, important occasion or any event where you feel that these life long buckles will be a treasured item.

How do I get a quote and draft?

The first step to getting your custom buckles made is to talk to Ben at BuckYou. We will discuss your requirements and the most cost effective way to get you the finished product. You will need to send through the logo/design of your club or association which we will then transfer into a finished metal image of what your buckle will look like. 

Based on the production materials and manufacturing process of buckle the minimum order is 50 units. In regards to Pewter versus Zinc as a metal for buckles pewter is preferred as it holds excellent detail, can be plated in Gold, Silver, Brass, Bronze and Antique pewter along with many other finishes. Zinc is also good to plate but does not have the superb smooth finish pewter has so can look a bit rough by comparison.

How long does it take to make?

Buckles are made locally in Australia and our minimum run is 50 units, maximum run is 1,000 then we go to off-shore manufacture. On orders over 200 units, we will supply a sample prior to production and with all of our off-shore made product, we do the design, make samples and supply the tooling;  that way all work is guaranteed.  For locally made product allow 4 weeks from artwork approval and off-shore 6 to 7 weeks from sample approval.

What about belts?

Although we don’t do custom belts, we hold a good selection of black, brown, embossed and detailed leather belts. We can also supply these with your buckles if need be. Simply tell us the design and sizes and we can add it to your quote. You can get an idea of our belts by looking around the website.

What about Payment and how do I make it?

For orders under 200 units we require payment prior to production, once you have approved the quote and artwork. Remember you will see a final draft and dimensions of the product first.  For runs over 200 you will receive a sample prior to production and once approved, we will require payment prior to production. You can pay either through the www.buckyou.com.au website using Paypal (this is the most internationally recognized online payment system and offers the best security), or your can automatically transfer the funds online into a BuckYou account. We will also accept cheque or cash.
